Never buy another hinge or mortise template again.  With your hand held plunge router, equipped with a template guide bushing, ART can be used to machine mortises up to 2-1/2” wide x 5” long for hinges, lockset latches, and mortises used for making mortise and tenon joints.  The template is compact measuring only 7-1/2" x 7-3/4".  The template components are machined from aluminum plate.  ART is attached to a wood fence that you supply with two pan head wood screws that are included.  The size of the mortise is adjusted by loosening the four socket head cap screws and adjusting the two side slides and the back slide as shown in the drawing below.  The position of the template opening in relation to the fence can be adjusted by loosening the pan head wood screws and moving the fence in the template slots.       To download the complete ART instructions click here.     *Important*:  This product is for use with plunge routers only.  The barrel length of the template guide bushing must be a minimum of 7/32” (0.218”) and a maximum of 31/64” (0.484”) as shown below.     Item #ART - $79.99
